WEOA is a membership based organisation providing a support business network forum for the weddings industry. WEOA has raised incredible interest from Australian brides on social media (Over 35,000 Facebook fans) . We are continuously promoting and marketing our members, showcasing their talents and amazing work. This has proved to be a huge success with many couples thanking us for supplying quality and reputable companies that have enhanced their big day.
WEOA will be responsible for recognising the amazing talent in the Australian Wedding Industry. Through the Wedding Industry Professionals of Australia Awards, our members have the opportunity to submit a proposal (for their particular category). These submissions are then judged by our WEOA board members with the top submissions per category and state selected as WEOA finalists for that year. The winners are then announced at the annual red carpet gala awards evening to be held in every state.
In 2015, WEOA will be introducing new and exciting benefits to their bridal industry members. New additions to the WEOA business will include recruitment, training and education to provide business support webinars as well as the ability for members to advertise their vacancies within the wedding industry through WEOA’s networks. A new Diamond Standard will be introduced to WEOA members, they will have the opportunity to be rated one, two or three diamonds according to their professionalism, level of service and product quality.
Be recognised for your contribution to the industry. The Wedding Industry Professionals of Australia Awards creates a new level of recognition to the Australian Wedding Industry. As a WEOA member you self nominate in your particular field to be eligible for the Awards. Members must submit their proposal and best photos for the year via the WEOA website.
The submissions are then judged by a panel of industry experts producing a combined final score percentage out of 100. You will be judged on the way you conduct and operate your business, professionalism, talent, marketing, uniqueness and your ability to answer the specific questions outlined in the submission combined with your amazing photos.
